US Small Business Administration (SBA): Prepare My Business
A site specifically for small business owners, Prepare My Business reminds owners that 40 to 60% of small businesses never reopen following a major disaster. The site features planning, educational, and testing tools, as well as links to disaster assistance resources.

Family Preparedness

Make a Plan

When disaster strikes, you may not necessarily be with your family. Therefore it’s important to make a plan in advance in order to communicate and congregate. Ready.gov has created a Family Emergency Plan designed to make things easier and more efficient.

Make a Kit

A GO-BAG is something you pack today in hopes that you never have to use. Having certain items in a single place will help you to mobilize in case you must evacuate quickly. While this list is a good start, it isn't necessarily all-inclusive. You may also wish to keep some items in your vehicle.
